The Wiggles Celebration Show

I remember the first time I heard the Wiggles song "Hot Potato". At the time, my now 15 year old niece was a toddler. I couldn't get the song out of my head because it was so catchy. So,  I was sad to learn that after 21 years of performing together, Red Wiggle Murray Cook, Yellow Wiggle Greg Page and Purple Wiggle Jeff Fatt have decided to stop performing with the group. This year’s summer tour will be the last opportunity for families to see the four original Wiggles on stage together.

There are only two shows here in Philadelphia at the Tower on Saturday, August 18th at 11:30am and 3:00pm

You can still purchase tickets here:

Trout Fishing in America at Longwood Gardens

Trout Fishing in America
Friday, June 15th
7:00 pm

The whole family will enjoy this four-time Grammy-nominated children’s folk/rock duo.

Trout Fishing in America will perform during one of our Light Nights. Sing along at this outdoor concert, make an illuminating craft, and enjoy other family-friendly activities.

Trout Fishing in America is the longstanding musical partnership of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. The name, taken from a Richard Brautigan novel, seems almost as incongruent and intriguing as a picture of this musical duo - Ezra Idlet (guitar) stands six feet nine inches and Keith Grimwood (bass), five feet five and one half inches. What is more intriguing is the musical career these two have carved out in three decades of writing, recording, and performing together.

Sharing knowledge and encouraging art has become another musical mission of TFIA. In the past few years they have developed a variety of song writing workshops for teachers and students, which illustrate how art and music come from the fabric of everyday life. Their willingness to make fun of our most annoying and sometimes disgusting habits in one song then touch our hearts with tender and passionate images of family life in the next is what makes the connection between Trout Fishing in America and their audiences so real.

This performance is weather permitting.

For more information: http://www.longwoodgardens.org

Location: 1001 Longwood Road Kennett Square, PA 19348

This event is appropriate for:  the whole family

Cost: This performance is free with Gardens admission.

Lolly Hopwood and the Let's Play Today Bunch atWorld Cafe Live at the Queen

Join us for Peanut Butter and Jams at World Cafe Live at the Queen as we welcome Lolly Hopwood and the Let's Play Today Bunch!

Lolly Hopwood and the Let’s Play Today Bunch inspire children to play, exercise and be healthy with their high energy, interactive shows and music!

Their songs and fitness activities engage the children’s imaginations while they dance, jump, hop, run, and play! Exposed to a healthy blend of live music, storytelling, and playful activities, children (and adults too) enjoy going on lively adventures, exploring faraway places, and just being downright silly! Children love to pretend to be on a romping fun-filled train ride; to pop bubbles and get clean in a giant bubble bath; to drive their cars to the red light/green light song; and to march around like their favorite animals in the zoo. With songs inspired by classic and contemporary kids music from the 70’s and today, Lolly Hopwood and the Let’s Play Today Bunch have a country/folk vibe that’s all their own.
