A Chester County tradition over Labor Day weekend. The Country Fair Midway features shopping, entertainment, inflatables, rides, and games for the whole family. You can grab a bite to eat, sit in our beer garden, and watch the competition.



Join us for a party with all the royalty, complete with your favorite princess songs and photo ops. Tickets should be bought in advance.

Barnes Free First Sunday Family Day



The Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with free admission to the galleries, including the featured exhibitions, Joseph Stella: Visionary Nature & Abstract Flash: Unseen Andrew Wyeth.



Relax and enjoy Labor Day Weekend with everyone’s favorite furry friends. Visit Elmo dressed in his ALL-NEW red, white, and blue attire for a patriotic photo op! Then, on September 3, be sure to stick around for an impressive display of fireworks!

It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes!
This September, we're celebrating our city’s rich jazz history with youth performances organized by the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts. Visitors can enjoy the sounds of these emerging jazz masters while finding stories of music and melodies in our galleries and through fun family activities. PECO Family Jams are PMG’s one-of-a-kind, family-oriented programs, featured every second Sunday of the month between NOON and 4:00 PM.

All PECO Family Jam programs are completely free and no reservations are required, but visitors must still purchase museum admission tickets. Tickets are timed and often sell out.

Come dressed as your favorite royal subject for the Princess party, and join the most magical party in the kingdom with your real-life favorite princesses, princes, and other fairytale favorites (did someone want to build a snowman?). Get royal treatment with song, dance, autographs, photo ops, favors, and more! 
 


Fun for the whole family! There’s so much to do at Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show and Country Fair.

More fun for all the kids in our Midway. Inflatables, rides, and games will be enjoyed by the younger crowd.  Buy a wristband for all-day fun!

The fireworks will go off at approximately 8:30 pm. Free First Sundays at the Brandywine

The Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with free admission.* See the exhibition Gatecrashers: The Rise of the Self-Taught Artist in America on its closing weekend.

Advance registration is required for free admission. Please note that this month's event will not feature family art activities.




On Sept. 3rd  more than 3,000 movie theaters would provide discounted movie tickets to the public. For each theater that participates on Sept. 3, tickets will be no more than $3 for each show regardless of what format it is in. AMC is offering a $5 fountain drink and popcorn combo meal. Meanwhile, Cinemark is dropping the prices for its medium ICEEs, medium fountain drinks, candy, and small popcorn to $3.
