Below is a list of parades, events, and fireworks in the Chester County area. Don't forget the Wawa Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia that includes a parade on July 4th, concerts, and outdoor movies. Click here for the calendar of events in Philadelphia.

Saturday, June 26th

Elverson Day in the Park – Live music, food trucks, 5k race, pony rides, face painting and a fireworks display at Livingood Park.  (rain date June 27th) 


Friday July 2nd

The Norco Fire Company holds its annual Fair in July on the Fire Company Grounds. This year's fair is July 2-7 and the fireworks are on Friday, July 2 starting at 10:30 p.m.


Saturday July 3rd

The show begins at 9:15 p.m.
Admission required to view the fireworks and fountain show


Sunday, July 4th
Family Friendly events planned throughout the day and fireworks are slated for 9 p.m


Tredyffrin Township
Fireworks show begins at dusk
Wilson Farm Park - 500 Lee Road, Chesterbrook, PA


Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count, as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with colorful bursts of brilliance. Be sure to watch us paint the sky red (and green and blue) from inside the park. This impressive display will certainly give you something to celebrate this Fourth of July!

Fireworks will begin at 9:00PM.

Nottingham Township Freedom Fest
An Independence weekend concert, children's entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks display. (fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.) at Nottingham County Park (150 Park Road)
Thursday, July 4th

Downingtown 
Good Neighbor Day and Fireworks
The event starts at 6 am in Kerr Park in Downtown with races and plenty of kids friendly events throughout the day. Fireworks at Dusk.

Easttown Township
Family Picnic and Bike Parade at Johnson Park (Berwyn) on July 4th, at 11 a.m.

Phoenixville 
Annual 4th of July Fireworks at Friendship Field (corner of Fillmore Street and Franklin Avenue)

Tredyffrin Township
Fireworks show begins at dusk

Celebrate America's birthday with 50 FREE family-friendly events including a live KIDZ BOP KIDS “Best Time Ever” Tour. concert, free movie nights, Free Museum Days, fun educational activities, and more— June 29 – July 4, 2017. 

KIDZ BOP Kids and Party on the Parkway on July 4
Party on the Parkway features five blocks of FREE entertainment, food, and fun from noon to 7 p.m. KIDZ BOP Kids “Best Time Ever” Tour.returns to the main stage on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for a free live concert at 1 p.m. To win up-front tickets for KIDZ BOP Kids stop by a Beneficial Bank participating branch now through June 23 for details. *Participating branches include: Broad & Porter Sts., 21st St. & Passyunk Ave, 10th & Catherine Sts., Passyunk Ave & Mifflin St, 12th & Chestnut Sts. and 16th & Chestnut Sts.

PECO’s Go 4th & Learn educational series kicks off June 29 at the Mummers Museum and continues July 1 and July 2 featuring citywide activities highlighting tradition and history, free concerts, and book giveaways. Books In Homes USA will provide 9,000 free books to children.
Historic District Block Party – On July 3 at Independence Mall from noon to 7 p.m. enjoy live music, activities, delicious food, and historical characters.



Wawa Welcome America Fireworks - There’s no such thing as too many fireworks to celebrate July 4th—two fireworks displays synchronized to music will set aglow Philadelphia’s skies June 30 and July 1 at 9:30 p.m. over the Delaware River Waterfront. The grand July 4th finale includes two more fireworks shows, one along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the other over the Delaware Waterfront at 9:30 p.m.
