With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!



West Chester University’s (WCU) Wells School of Music (WSOM) and the West Chester University Opera Theatre Presents HANSEL & GRETEL by Englebert Humperdinck on Saturday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m., in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, 700 S. High Street, West Chester. Tickets are only $10 for adults, and $5 for non-WCU students and seniors and are available at https://wcupatix.com. Students, faculty, staff, and children under 11 enjoy free tickets (with proper i.d.)
 This familiar and beloved fairy tale HANSEL & GRETEL by the Brothers Grimm comes to life as an opera with enchanting music by Engelbert Humperdinck. In the show, the young brother and sister lose their way in the woods and encounter the witch’s irresistible gingerbread house, but the chilling drama and delectable melodies are perfectly sweetened by a happy ending.

 


Join us the first weekend of May when we celebrate everyone's favorite interlocking construction toys! We'll be hosting displays, activities, and more!
On Sunday, we'll host a special Star Wars celebration as part of our LEGO weekend! Visitors will have the chance to interact with cosplayers and enjoy fun activities (like making their own lightsabers!)


Tour the Family Farm Museum to learn about seasonal tools used on farms from the 1700’s to the 1900’s. 

Take a wagon ride through our scenic 300 acres and help support the Friends of Springton Manor Farm. This non-profit group is dedicated to recreation, education, conservation, and preservation of the Farm, and will share information about volunteering at the park.


This is a sensory-friendly event for community families with children with special needs. Games and activities include a petting zoo, face painting, inflatable outdoor activities, arts and crafts, a plant sale, bingo, and raffles.


Help celebrate nature and protect the environment with our Earth Day volunteer event!
Each year, we bring together diverse volunteers from the community, including individuals, families, scout troops, and youth groups, to work on projects that improve habitat for wildlife, protect important natural resources, and preserve the park’s plant and animal communities.

Join us for a family friendly event at Glen Eagle Square.
This event will be fun for the whole family, featuring face painting and crafts. Music and other activities for everyone. 




Enjoy free, all-day admission to the Brandywine Museum of Art and its special exhibitions. In addition to free admission, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. join in creative art activities* celebrating animals in art. Search for creatures in paintings and create colorful bird sculptures and wearable animal masks. At 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. sing and dance along with lively musical performances from the award-winning duo, Two of a Kind.

Explore nature near and far with tools like magnifying glasses and binoculars while using your senses to experience the Gardens through a new lens. Recommended for adults and children.


The newness and beauty of spring beckon throughout our Gardens this season. It’s our first with our stunning Bonsai Courtyard, gorgeous new outdoor landscapes, and redesigned Idea Garden … making this a season of fresh beginnings like never before.

Explore paleontology’s final frontier in Ice Dinosaurs, the Academy’s exciting new special exhibit. Transport yourself to the Late Cretaceous period in the Arctic Circle, where dinosaurs actually lived year-round in extreme polar environments. This brand-new, immersive, and educational experience brings this era to life with animatronic dinosaurs, engaging stories, and real fossils, skeletons, and museum casts.



Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.
