What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. Please call ahead before leaving your house to ensure the venue is still hosting the event. Due to the new COVID guidelines, many venues have had to cut back on the number of visitors they can allow.

Save the date & join us for our annual celebration of Earth Day and all things eco-friendly, Party for the Planet! Party for the Planet is a family fun filled day that emphasizes the importance of conservation and the environment. Guests can enjoy demonstrations and education stations featuring animals, recycling, sustainable living and more! Eco-friendly items will also be available to purchase from vendors throughout the zoo.

Join us outside at the museum for a FREE day of sensory activities, a pop-up shop, a photo op for the family, and a take-home activity bag! The DCM is celebrating our 11th birthday and getting ready to reopen our doors soon, and we want to see you! This event is entirely outdoors, and all social distancing and mask wearing protocols will be followed!

Dance along with the music of New Orleans performed by the award-winning Quaker City String Band in a physically distanced environment.

Join the animals of the Brandywine Zoo as we celebrate Earth Day! Our celebration will take us all around the world as our animals teach us about their native countries and ecosystems and help us celebrate the diversity of animals and nature all around the globe!

The Museum will be open for members only during our first two weekends: April 8-11 and April 15-18. New memberships are available for those who wish to come to the Museum during our first two weekends!  Reservations Required

Each year, we bring together diverse volunteers from the community, including individuals, families, scout troops, and youth groups, to work on projects that improve wildlife habitat, protect important natural resources, and preserve the park’s plant and animal communities. Past projects have included planting trees, installing bird boxes, and stream cleanups.
