We invite you to check out our events calendar, with many family-friendly events and things to do on the weekends and every day of the week. We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do! 



Coatesville Youth Initiative (CYI) and Equity Health Center (EHC) welcome the Coatesville community to the Fall Fest & Block Party in downtown Coatesville on Saturday, October 26 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. CYI’s Fall Fest takes place at Victor Abdala Sr. Memorial Park at 851 Olive Street, while EHC’s Block Party will be happening a short walk away on Chester Avenue and the Brandywine Center lots.



Join Caln Township Parks and Recreation for our annual Halloween Party! This year's FREE event will feature a costume contest (by age group), pumpkin decorating, and games! The costume contest will start right at 1pm, so don't be late!



Mark your calendars for October 26 and get ready for a day packed with family fun and excitement! From sports challenges to arts & crafts, we've got something for everyone!



 Kiddos in costume can follow the trail to collect treats from 20+ participating businesses throughout the Borough (look for the black and orange balloons!).



Join us on Saturday, October 28th, for two hours of spooky Halloween family-friendly fun! Come in costume and enjoy activities and treats at the museum.



Join us again in the heart of Downingtown to trick-or-treat your way through our local businesses. It’s a fun, family day full of activities and another use for that costume you worked so hard on! Gouls and Goblins of all ages!




Join us for a family-friendly Halloween train ride! Wear your favorite costume and ride our heated train to enjoy the beautiful Chester Creek Valley in all of it's Fall splendor! During your 20-minute stop at the historic Glen Mills station, passengers can disembark and explore the historic station and our picnic grove. Passengers can also collect a few treats while on the train.



On Sunday, October 27th, come on out for an afternoon filled with all kinds of seasonal festivities, from face painting and moon bounces to a hayride, games, delicious treats, music, and so much more! Come for a fun fall afternoon from 3-6pm on the CCC front lawn. There will be a variety of food trucks, so don't forget to bring money for dinner (the event itself is, of course, FREE, but you'll need to have money on hand to purchase anything from the food trucks).



Wayne Merchants and Restaurants welcome Trick or Treaters to town with Treats and Specials! Stroll around town and enjoy a safe trick-or-treat!. Plus stop into the Wayne Business Association Tent on North Wayne Avenue for crafts with the Wayne Art Center more trick or treating and entertainment!



Looking for a safe place to trick-or-treat this Halloween? 
Children are invited to come in costume and visit treat stations throughout the beautiful surroundings of Hagley’s powder yard.
Halloween at Hagley features a trick-or-treat trail while supplies of candy last.



Experience Fintastic Fall Days only at Adventure Aquarium! Discover a glowing new adventure as glowing gourds in the shapes of aquatic animals take over the aquarium, ready to delight with daytime fun! Explore among glowing sea creatures, discover underwater pumpkin carvers, and embark on a search for illuminating surprises waiting around every corner. Experience the adventure before it glows away!



This Halloween display of colorful cartoon characters, scarecrows, a hay hutch, and over ten tons of pumpkins is always a hit! Take a daytime hayride or walk through the maze.

Arasapha Farm is open this year with many new additions and family fun. The corn maze has been planted and new games make it more fun than ever. Other activities include pumpkin picking. This includes a Hayride to the Corn Maze and back to the courtyard. Our picnic areas, along with other activities, are available for Birthday parties, family reunions, and other gatherings. Parties include a jump on the pillow bounce, pallet maze, tractor and truck playground, and corn cannons.


Our fall harvest celebration weekends kick off on September 14, weather permitting. 
 Activities include Apple and Pumpkin picking, Corn maze, Apple cannons, Face Painting, Axe Throwing, Trackless Train Rides, and Hayrides.
The farm market will be well stocked with mums, pumpkins of all sizes and colors, and oodles of fall and Halloween decorating items.

Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.

Embrace the season with a famous Apple Cider Donut in one hand and big ol’ hand-picked pumpkin in the other. Because Fall at Highland Orchards just feels right!



All aboard the Dinosaur Train at Please Touch Museum! This traveling exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities.

Downingtown FallFest is a Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce event in partnership with Victory Brewing Company and the Borough of Downingtown. This high-value community event brings thousands of visitors seeking great food, crafts, and of course, the Victory Beer Garden.
Downingtown Fall Fest takes place on Green Street and East Pennsylvania Avenue in the Borough of Downingtown.



Come out to BrickFair LEGO Fan Expo for a day of fun, and leave inspired and excited to build the future. The fun takes place at the Exton Square Mall (former Sears location)


Experience a hunter derby horse show like no other! Enjoy this spectacular horse jumping event in the vineyard with wine, local beer & cider, live music all day long, food trucks, artisan vendors plus a chance for the kids to get up close to the stars of the show at the the meet & greet station! Kick off the morning with brunchy bites from our food trucks & bottomless mimosas from 10am-Noon. Attendees are encouraged to put on their best derby day attire (think big hats & bright colors!) for a chance to win prizes for "Best Dressed."



Last year's inaugural Chesco Art Walk was so great, we decided to make it an annual event! Join us in EGT Park this September and peruse original artwork from 30+ local artists! Live demonstrations, art classes, food trucks and live music round out the experience! Held in partnership with the Chester County Art Association, this will surely be a memorable event!
This is meant to be 90% art...10% walk! And so the artists will be placed along out lovely trails so we can enjoy the artwork while also getting our steps in! There will be designated purchased art pick-up locations.




The first annual Fall for Ardmore event with VIP Beer Garden arrives on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2pm-6pm! Schauffele Plaza (the parking lot adjacent to Tired Hands Fermentaria) will again be filled with live music and reserved seating tables, but with beer and food available for sale on-site for all!



Come experience the national parks! On September 24, 2022, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone. 



Teens and Tweens will enjoy The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride, which has been voted the #1 haunt in the country and has been featured on the Travel Channel.

Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire  The Renaissance fair occurs over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania. 




Kick off picking season with a shuttle ride to the strawberry fields. Pick at your leisure and ride back to enjoy food trucks, local crafters, beer, wine & spirits, and our playground and picnic area. Feed the goats and shop our market for great local produce, fresh-baked donuts and pies, and Highland's Own jellies, jams, & sauces.

This summer, Longwood is beautiful gardens by day and the magic of Light: Installations by Bruce Munro at night.

Stroll through our gardens awash in brilliantly blooming annuals and perennials, or discover a starlit getaway with our Illuminated Fountain Performances and live music in the Beer Garden Thursday through Saturday evenings.

What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back. 



Join us for a family-friendly Halloween train ride! Wear your favorite costume and ride our heated train to enjoy the beautiful Chester Creek Valley in all of its Fall splendor! During your brief stop at the historic Glen Mills station, passengers can disembark and explore the historic station and our picnic grove. Passengers can also collect a few treats while at the station. A simple fun event for everyone to enjoy.


Our signature June Father’s Day event has a new name but is the same celebration of family and fun. This year, we’ve added an extra day and moved the whole event to Saturday, October 23, from 10 am until 5 pm, and Sunday, October 24, from noon until 5 pm.

On Saturday we will host a car and motorcycle show, along with food trucks, a beer garden, interesting exhibits, games, and more. WMGK’s Andre Gardner will broadcast LIVE from noon until 2 pm. On Sunday we will have helicopter rides and static aircraft displays in addition to the aforementioned for the second day of fun.




Kids dress up and take a stroll along the Candy Trail to all of your favorite shops and restaurants in town. Each destination will offer fun treats and goodies for the whole family! Just follow the orange and black balloons and complete the treat trail. Enjoy s'more stations at Penny Lane Emporium. Kids in costume eat FREE at Grain, too! Great photo ops to be taken at our seasonal photo booth to commemorate Halloween 2021.



Come out and celebrate Oktoberfest at East Bradford Park! Sunday, October 24th, 1pm – 6pm. Food, Drink, Music and Dance!! Free Admission!! Artillery Brewing Co. Beer Garden, The Flying Deutchman Mobile Eatery, Gotta Lotta Gelata, caricature artist Dan Freed, Lukens German Band, Polkadelphia, GTV Edelweiss of Reading. You don’t have to be German to enjoy Oktoberfest!!





Celebrate Halloween Brandywine Zoo-style with this merry, not scary, event.  All are invited to wear costumes while visiting the zoo animals. Plenty of treats and activities. Kids will receive a treat bag at the end! Members do not need to register for Boo, just bring your card and/or photo ID. Tickets are available at the door and online. Online purchase recommended.




Join us at the zoo for some special after-hours trick-or-treating fun! This after-hours access of our regularly scheduled Boo at the Zoo event is specially geared for our guests with special needs along with their families and caregivers. This is a great opportunity to experience and enjoy Boo at the Zoo in a more relaxed setting, perfect for those with sensory sensitivities. Guests can walk the zoo and participate in treat stations, animal meet-and-greets, a costume parade, and more! Don’t forget your costume and your trick-or-treat bag!




Pile your friends and family in the car and take in a fun film under the night sky. All films are rated PG. Gates open at 5 pm, the movie starts at 7 pm.

Join us for three spooky weekends this October during our annual fall extravaganza! Come dressed in your favorite costume; enjoy seasonal décor, photo opportunities, and festive fall offerings; and have a spooktacular time!



Exton Square Mall will show Halloween movies in its parking lot throughout October. While moviegoers watch the on-screen frights, costumed staff will roam the crowds and scare audiences sitting in their cars.




Our annual pumpkin harvest season at Milky Way Farm runs Sept 25-Oct 31, 2021. For Saturdays and Sundays, individual tickets must be purchased in advance to limit capacity in response to COVID19 regulations. Stroll to the pumpkin patch, wander through the corn maze, take family photos, and visit the farm animals as part of your 2-hour $5 admission ticket. Bring your own wagon to carry pumpkins, fall harvest items, vegetables, and honey products that may be purchased during your visit. There will not be free hayrides however we are offering private hayride wagon trips to the patch for $75 (the wagon can fit 20 family and friends).

Over 100 spectacular scarecrows line the autumn-tinted pathways of Peddler’s Village during our 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village, on display from September 6 through October 30! For eight fun-filled weeks, view and vote for your favorite larger-than-life creations in this Bucks County tradition. Some scarecrows are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.

Enjoy fun fall activities, including our annual Scarecrow-Making Workshops (reserve your spot online) and pumpkin painting, live entertainment every weekend, and delicious fall-inspired specials at Village restaurants.
