We invite you to check out our events calendar, with many family-friendly events and things to do on the weekends and every day of the week. We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do! 



Take Mom on a 90-minute round-trip train ride from West Chester to Glen Mills and return on her special day. During your brief layover in Glen Mills, you will be able to explore the historic Glen Mills train station as well as our picnic grove along the Chester Creek. All Moms ride for a special reduced fare!



Join us for a fun-filled, hands-on experience at Touch A Truck! This family-friendly event gives kids (and kids at heart) the chance to explore police cars, fire trucks, construction vehicles, and more!



Head to the park at dusk to enjoy some yummy treats and watch Mona 2 under the stars.



Family Yoga on the farm with Triple-Threat Fitness LLC.  Join us and Deanna Mother's Day morning for an hour of fun exercise and yoga movement designed for all ages and abilities.  This is a relaxing session held outdoors near our farm animals.  Not even our goats will be judging you!

The newness and beauty of spring beckon throughout our Gardens this season. It’s our first with our stunning Bonsai Courtyard, gorgeous new outdoor landscapes, and redesigned Idea Garden … making this a season of fresh beginnings like never before.

Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.

The Archaeology Program seeks to evaluate archaeological resources and explore research questions concerning the development of the Newlin Grist Mill historic site while enhancing public knowledge and providing opportunities for the public to participate in the archaeological process.

Excavations are conducted under the leadership of resident archaeologist Keith Doms with assistance from the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology members and volunteers from the community. Individuals and groups throughout the region volunteer one Saturday per month assisting with excavations and artifact cleaning. Outside, stroll 400 acres of winter’s beauty. Although subdued colors reign, the occasional burst of bright yellow and orange of blooming witch-hazel dots the landscape, while winter grasses add a textural element.
