A list of best things to do in Chester County this weekend
 October 15th, 16th, & 17th

What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.

We are excited to have our annual Fall Festival this year and we look forward to seeing you. This year we will be splitting up the day into two parts to help mitigate overcrowding our park, being mindful about Covid, and ensuring that we keep our lines manageable for the best guest experience possible.

Spend a great afternoon in the park, jamming to great music, eating some delicious food and enjoying a craft beer or local wine! The Festival includes live music on stage and a football field worth of food trucks!

Join us for a three-day Chadds Ford tradition where over 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists on Thursday and will be lit and displayed on Friday & Saturday. All three nights enjoy a 'kid friendly' Haunted Trail, raffle prizes and live music from "Kenny & Friends".  Each night, "America's Got Talent" contestant, Dylan Zangwill, will be singing on the stage 5:30pm - 6:30pm.  Food, local craft beer and wine are available for purchase.

Join us for three spooky weekends this October during our annual fall extravaganza! Come dressed in your favorite costume; enjoy seasonal décor, photo opportunities, and festive fall offerings; and have a spooktacular time!

Join us in our courtyard for a fun day of games, festivities, food, live music and more.  There is even a costume parade, so come in your finest or scariest Halloween attire. Admission is free!

Exton Square Mall will show Halloween movies in its parking lot throughout October. While moviegoers watch the on-screen frights, costumed staff will roam the crowds and scare audiences sitting in their cars.

Our annual pumpkin harvest season at Milky Way Farm runs Sept 25-Oct 31, 2021. For Saturdays and Sundays, individual tickets must be purchased in advance to limit capacity in response to COVID19 regulations. Stroll to the pumpkin patch, wander through the corn maze, take family photos, and visit the farm animals as part of your 2-hour $5 admission ticket. Bring your own wagon to carry pumpkins, fall harvest items, vegetables, and honey products that may be purchased during your visit. There will not be free hayrides however we are offering private hayride wagon trips to the patch for $75 (the wagon can fit 20 family and friends).

Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, participating in our interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume on their Halloween-themed floats!

Over 100 spectacular scarecrows line the autumn-tinted pathways of Peddler’s Village during our 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village, on display from September 6 through October 30! For eight fun-filled weeks, view and vote for your favorite larger-than-life creations in this Bucks County tradition. Some scarecrows are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.

Enjoy fun fall activities, including our annual Scarecrow-Making Workshops (reserve your spot online) and pumpkin painting, live entertainment every weekend, and delicious fall-inspired specials at Village restaurants.

Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire  The Renaissance fair occurring over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania.

Enjoy a brisk fall afternoon along the picturesque Chester Creek Valley from our heated train as we take you on a 90 minute journey back in time to the village of Glen Mills and return.

Travel back in time 66 million years ago and journey to an age when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Encounter 24 life-size creatures, learn about these prehistoric giants, the rise of humans, and our impact on wildlife and the planet!  Timed tickets are required.

Crisp, fresh, and altogether refreshing, autumn at Longwood is a season of constant shifts in hue and texture … yet ever-present beauty.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids’ birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you’ll see why we’re more than just a trampoline park.
