Harvest Celebration at Warwick County Park

Celebrate autumn with seasonal activities, storytelling and an evening bonfire. At 6:15 PM, Makin' Music Rocking Rhythmns will take the stage. Then, set against a glowing bonfire at 7:00 PM, storyteller Charles Kiernan will share his strange old English and Scottish tales, stories of the uncanny, hauntingly humorous tales, and a good dose of the unknown.

Activities throughout the evening include wagon rides, face painting, dunk tank, corn crib, kid’s crafts and games, animals, Charcoal Trail tour. The Friends of Warwick Park will have a concession stand and “Guess the Pumpkin Weight” game.

Makin' Music's Sue McKenna, a talented vocalist and guitarist, has performed professionally off and on for over 20 years and currently plays locally with Moondawgs, an acoustic duo with husband Paul. She has been performing children’s music and teaching Makin’ Music classes for over 10 years. Her spontaneous sense of humor and lightheartedness really perk up the audience.

Storyteller Charles Kiernan is the coordinator for the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild, Pennsylvania State Representative for the National Youth Storytelling Showcase, Pennsylvania State Liaison for the National Storytelling Network and recipient of the 2008 Individual Artist Award from the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission.
