The Hawaiian Cinderella at Tredyffrin Library

Leilani: The Hawaiian Cinderella

Sunday, January 12th

Two performances: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Leilani, performed in British-style Panto by Conestoga High School’s advanced theater arts students, is set in Hawaii and tells the very familiar story of a girl who overcomes her unfortunate situation despite overwhelming obstacles.

Panto is a traditional British pantomime-style comic theater in which the principal boy is played by a girl, and the “dame” is played by a boy. Pantos also feature animal sidekicks, a villain, silly songs and a happy ending. Leila is fun for all ages. Come enjoy this “spin” on the classic Cinderella tale.
