2026 Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations in Chester County and the Philadelphia Area

Below is a list of parades, events, and fireworks in the Chester County area. Don't forget the Wawa Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia that includes a parade on July 4th, concerts, and outdoor movies. Click here for the calendar of events in Philadelphia.

Saturday, June 27th

Elverson Day in the Park 

Live music, food trucks, 5k race, pony rides, face painting, and fireworks display at Livingood Park.  

Thursday, July 2nd

Fireworks & Fountains Show at Longwood Gardens

Fireworks & Fountains Shows are back and better than ever. With imaginative new shows, an enhanced sound system, new reserved seating throughout the entire venue, and new vistas—including our new tiered Conservatory Overlook—consider your Fireworks & Fountains Shows experience reimagined.

North Coventry Township

The Norco Fire Company holds its annual July fair on the Fire Company Grounds. This year's fair takes place from June 30th - July 4th and the fireworks display is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 4th

Phoenixville Fireworks

Phoenixville’s annual Independence Day celebration and fireworks display will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event takes place at the Phoenixville Recreation Center (501 Franklin Ave), with food trucks and music beginning at 5:00 PM and the fireworks lighting up the sky after dark (around 9:15 PM)

Downingtown Good Neighbor Day

Start the day with the Run for Life (5K, 10K & 15K) and 5K Freedom Walk at 8 am. Then enjoy fabulous food, crafts, music, bike decorating, and many other fun activities, all benefiting local emergency providers. Finish off the fun day with a fireworks display.

Pottstown's GoFourth Celebration

Family Friendly events are planned throughout the day, and fireworks are slated for 9 p.m

Saturday, July 11th

Exton Park Community Day

The County of Chester and West Whiteland Township will host a Community Day Celebration at Exton Park. The event will feature live music, food truck vendors, kids' activities, a vendor fair, a touch-a-truck area, and more! Fireworks at 7 pm.
