Little Tykes Go on Hikes is a series of themed, family-friendly outdoor adventures designed for children ages 3 to 8. Each guided hike combines exploration, education, and fun, encouraging young adventurers to discover nature through interactive activities, storytelling, and hands-on experiences. Trails are easy to navigate, engaging, and perfect for families to enjoy together. $16 per child, adults free.

Make today a magical adventure as you discover shimmering mermaids diving beneath the waves, swimming among thousands of amazing animals, including the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast! The Sandra F. Pritchard Mather Planetarium at West Chester University holds evening shows for the general public. The live monthly presentations, hosted by a PhD astronomer, provide an overview of what is visible in the current night sky. In addition, each show focuses on a particular aspect of astronomy. Pre-recorded movie shows are also available. The movie, presented by WCU students, offers a shorter tour of the night sky followed by a full-dome movie.
All shows start promptly at 7 p.m. and run approximately one hour.

Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.
