Enjoy a brisk fall afternoon along the picturesque Chester Creek Valley from our train as we take you on a 90-minute journey back in time to the village of Glen Mills and return.


It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes. This month, in honor of Marie Laurencin: Sapphic Paris, which explores the French artist’s trailblazing career, we’re celebrating untold stories about art and music we love. Enjoy Laurencin-inspired art activities, live performances by poet and musician Khemist, and free access to the collection and Marie Laurencin: Sapphic Paris.


On view through our Chrysanthemum Festival and A Longwood Christmas seasons, a perfectly fanciful blend of horticulture, engineering, and lighthearted fun awaits guests of all ages with this very special display located outdoors near the Terrace Restaurant.



Get ready to experience the magic of the season at Treehouse World! As the leaves are turning to vibrant hues of red, orange, and yellow, we're thrilled to announce our annual Fall Fun Days.

Enjoy free all-day admission to the Brandywine Museum of Art, plus a special opportunity to meet some of the picture book illustrators and authors whose work is featured in Brandywine’s special exhibition, Rooted: Family and Nature in Contemporary Children’s Book Illustration. The artists and authors will read and sign their books, and teaching artists will lead creative art activities* related to the themes of the books from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., which include making colorful prints with vegetables, imagining a secret garden, and counting the contributions to a fanciful group assemblage. 



Join us the first Saturday of each month between 9 am – 12 pm for free in-person Kids Workshops. While supplies last.



Join us for a weekend of family fun at the 48th Annual Apple Festival on Saturday & Sunday, November 4 & 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Peddler’s Village Apple Festival is one of the most popular annual events in the greater Philadelphia region!



Fall Fest weekends are officially kicking off with the grand opening of this year’s aMAZEing Corn Maze -and it’s all about Chester County! Corn Maze, Apple Cannons, Pumpkin Picking, Food Trucks and all sorts of other Fall fun is in full swing!

Embrace the season with a famous Apple Cider Donut in one hand and big ol’ hand-picked pumpkin in the other. Because Fall at Highland Orchards just feels right!



All aboard the Dinosaur Train at Please Touch Museum! This traveling exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities.



Experience NEW Fintastic Fall Days only at Adventure Aquarium! Discover a glowing new adventure as glowing gourds in the shapes of aquatic animals take over the aquarium, ready to delight with daytime fun! Explore among glowing sea creatures, discover underwater pumpkin carvers, and embark on a search for illuminating surprises waiting around every corner. Experience the adventure before it glows away!




Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.



Celebrate fall’s favorite flower—in its many forms, hues, and varieties—during our captivating Chrysanthemum Festival.

Cherished for their exquisite beauty and delightfully distinct variations, chrysanthemums take center stage this season—and for very good reason. Complex by nature, chrysanthemums are divided into 13 classifications, each featuring a distinct flower form, from the tiny pompon to the great irregular incurve—all on full, radiant display.



Burn off some energy while having some fun while skating with the family.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
