We invite you to check out our events calendar, with many family-friendly events and things to do on the weekends and every day of the week. We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do!  



Join us for a three-day Chadds Ford tradition where over 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists on Thursday and will be lit and displayed on Friday & Saturday. All three nights, enjoy a 'kid-friendly' Haunted Trail, raffle prizes, and live music. Food, local craft beer, and wine are available for purchase.



The West Chester University Dance Team is excited to offer a youth clinic for participants in grades K-6! The clinic is an excellent opportunity for the dancers to gain exposure to the team and learn the Golden Ram's traditions. Dancers can expect individualized attention from West Chester University Dance Team members, new choreography, and an overall fun experience. The clinic provides a great introduction to jazz, hip-hop, and pom styles. Dancers will also learn fun routines and receive a t-shirt. Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable shorts or pants to dance. 



Celebrate Halloween on the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation's maritime campus with this 5th annual family-friendly costume event. Enjoy indoor Ghost Ship tours, outdoor pumpkin painting, a costume parade, free tours of KALMAR NYCKEL, the Tall Ship of Delaware, and Halloween crafts. The WCASD is hosting a fair to bring the community together for a fun afternoon of entertainment, food, music, and games! Additionally, we will be promoting our new community school partnership of mentors’ initiative. For planning purposes, we would appreciate if those planning to attend RSVP in advance of the event. 



During Parents’ Day Out, they’ll be busy playing games, rock climbing and participating in a variety of activities throughout the evening while you spend a night on the town or simply relax at home! We wind down the evening with a little movie time for those who tire out, or open play time for those who still have more energy to burn off. Dinner of pizza and a drink is included.

Fall Fest weekends are officially kicking off with the grand opening of this year’s aMAZEing Corn Maze -and it’s all about Chester County! Corn Maze, Apple Cannons, Pumpkin Picking, Food Trucks and all sorts of other Fall fun is in full swing!

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate. Guests can experience themed entertainment, food,  contests, and activities. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee admission.




Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time.
