Join us for a free event celebrating the Westtown Community! Free face painting, carnival games, petting zoo, live music, craft vendors, stilt walker, balloon animals, and more!  Food trucks will also be there!

Enjoy a brisk fall afternoon along the picturesque Chester Creek Valley from our heated train as we take you on a 90-minute journey back in time to the village of Glen Mills and return.

A local favorite, this event provides fun for the whole family!  The festival will feature many different historic skills and trades demonstrations, as well as fun activities for kids of all ages.  This year’s theme “Food Traditions Past and Present” will highlight foods and cooking from the 18th century, along with the trades that made it possible to put food on the table in early America. Modern food trucks will also be on-site, offering a variety of delicious eats!

The Fair will take place on the grounds behind Landhope Farms, 113 E Street, Kennett Square, PA, from Friday, Sept 30 - Sunday, Oct 2, 2022.

Kids, big and small, are invited to celebrate the season with us during a day of farm-style fun! Get up close to trucks and tractors, check out other vehicles and equipment, suit up in firefighter gear, take a hayride, and even milk a mechanical cow.

The Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with free admission* to the galleries, including the featured exhibition, Fragile Earth: The Naturalist Impulse in Contemporary Art.
In addition to free admission, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., join in creative art activities* led by teaching artists. Think about life on this planet and beyond as you design colorful creatures and experiment with moving parts while making mobiles. Explore the Fragile Earth exhibition to discover how artists transform natural and non-traditional materials into art as they advocate for the environment.
Pre-registration is required for free timed tickets and art activities; spaces are limited

Teens and Tweens will enjoy The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride, which has been voted the #1 haunt in the country and has been featured on the Travel Channel.

Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire  The Renaissance fair occurs over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania.

Kick off picking season with a shuttle ride to the strawberry fields. Pick at your leisure and ride back to enjoy food trucks, local crafters, beer, wine & spirits, and our playground and picnic area. Feed the goats and shop our market for great local produce, fresh-baked donuts and pies, and Highland's Own jellies, jams, & sauces.

Outdoor play and exploration are critical to a child's growth and development.  A visit to Treehouse World will nurture your child’s sense of wonder and connection to the environment, helping them to feel at home in nature. Advanced ticket purchase is required.

Vibrancy and imagination abound during our spectacular Chrysanthemum Festival. We stretch our horticultural limits by nurturing and training specialty chrysanthemum forms, all bursting with color from start to finish, making for a radiant Conservatory bursting with personality.

Outside, explore our painted vistas as they change with the season, enjoy family fun in our fanciful Garden Railway and Pumpkin Playground, and find autumnal awe at every turn.

Don't miss the final flourish of our daily fountain performances, as well as Light: Installations by Bruce Munro—on view Thursday through Sunday evenings through October 30. Before dusk, explore our Gardens and kick back with live music in the Beer Garden. As darkness falls, Light’s eight installations begin to shine, adding a dimension of magic and wonder to our Gardens. Join us for that evening’s Illuminated Fountain Performance and enjoy even more fun afterward, as we remain open—and Light remains on view—until 11:00 pm.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
