It's our 10th year, come celebrate! This year's community day will include artists/crafters, vendors, a car show, live music, a live auction and raffle, games, entertainment, food, and more! Something for everyone! 



We're pleased to announce the return of Museum Day on September 17, 2022.

Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.




Join us on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, as we present our Paoli Battlefield Heritage Day, featuring our Military Timeline, with the help of our friends from Historical Military Impressions and the PA National Guard, see re-enactors in camps and display the dress and items they carried into battle. Interact with the soldiers, see the weapons they used and learn about the clothing and other gear that these soldiers needed to outfit themselves on the battlefield. Many other programs will be taking place throughout the day. Enjoy our food vendors and our beer vendor – it’s an event for all ages!



Join Thomas the Tank Engine™, a full-sized operating steam locomotive, as he greets friends of all ages. Thomas and his friends return to the Strasburg Rail Road on September 16 – 19, 2022.



The Chester County Restaurant Festival is returning to West Chester!! This foodie event is full of entertainment, information booths, local artisans, and tons of delicious food from around Chester County. Vendors and local businesses will take over Downtown West Chester on Sunday, September 18th, from 12pm-5:30pm.



Meredith Willson's six-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation. By turning wicked, funny, warm, romantic, and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best.




Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire  The Renaissance fair occurs over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania. 




Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute train ride from West Chester to Glen Mills and return on a warm summer afternoon. Pack a lunch or purchase lunch from our onboard snack bar to have during our stop at the Glen Mills train station picnic grove. Under 2, ride free!

Pick at your leisure and ride back to enjoy food trucks, local crafters, beer, wine & spirits, and our playground and picnic area. Feed the goats and shop our market for great local produce, fresh-baked donuts and pies, and Highland's Own jellies, jams, & sauces.

This summer, Longwood is beautiful gardens by day and the magic of Light: Installations by Bruce Munro at night.

Stroll through our gardens awash in brilliantly blooming annuals and perennials, or discover a starlit getaway with our Illuminated Fountain Performances and live music in the Beer Garden Thursday through Saturday evenings.




Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
