2022 Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations in Chester County and the Philadelphia Area

Below is a list of parades, events, and fireworks in the Chester County area. Don't forget the Wawa Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia that includes a parade on July 4th, concerts, and outdoor movies. Click here for the calendar of events in Philadelphia.

Saturday, June 25th


Live music, food trucks, 5k race, pony rides, face painting, and fireworks display at Livingood Park.  (rain date June 26th) 



Come out to beautiful East Goshen Park and start the summer with a “bang”! The fun-filled event includes moon bounces, live music, health screenings, a helicopter landing, a petting zoo, a few surprises, and ten food trucks serving a delicious bevy of options! The night ends with a spectacular fireworks display extending over the Applebrook Park vista!


Saturday, July 2nd


The 2022 Phoenixville Fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at approximately 9:15 pm at Friendship Field at Fillmore and Franklin Ave.



Sunday, July 3rd


Start the day with the Run for Life (5K, 10K & 15K) and 5K Freedom Walk at 8 am. Then enjoy fabulous food, crafts, music, bike decorating, and lots of other fun activities, all benefitting area emergency providers. 



Spirit of America - Fountain Illuminations To Music. Running seasonally, our Illuminated Fountain Performances offer a spectacle unlike any other. Find a place to sit—or stand back in awe—as water in all shapes, sizes, and heights combines with music and infinite colors. Before or after the 30-minute show, stroll through the five-acre garden for a nighttime experience evoking old-world charm.



On Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 12-3PM, PhilaLandmarks and Historic Waynesborough welcome the community for a free Independence Day celebration at Historic Waynesborough. Bring your family for a picnic catered by Jeffery Miller Catering, serving burgers, hot dogs, and their house-made ice tea and lemonade. Feel free to bring your own sides, additional beverages, etc.!


The skies over Chester County will come alive with 20+ balloons, launching daily (early morning and late afternoon). Enjoy mass balloon ascensions, local food, beer and wine, live music, family entertainment, tethered balloon rides, bounce houses, rock walls, hayrides, balloon glows in the evening, and fireworks!



Monday, July 4th

The Norco Fire Company holds its annual Fair in July on the Fire Company Grounds. This year's fair is July 4-9 and the fireworks are on Friday, July 8 starting at 10 p.m.



Family Friendly events are planned throughout the day and fireworks are slated for 9 p.m

Saturday, July 16th

Exton Park Community Day


The County of Chester and West Whiteland Township will be hosting a Community Day Celebration at Exton Park. The event will feature live music, food truck vendors, kids' activities, a vendor fair, a touch-a-truck area, and more! Fireworks at 7 pm.
