Once Upon A Symphony is a 50-minute showcase for symphony orchestra designed to introduce young audiences to the wonders of the orchestra. Additionally, it engages them in the compositional process resulting in a unique world premiere created at the performance. Supremely crafted and well-paced Once Upon A Symphony delights with bottle-music, hosaphones, snake-charming oboes, powerful trumpets, and more. This experience educates and entertains so the audience is learning, loving, and laughing about classical music throughout.

Meet the Easter Bunny and get your picture taken! An event at our workshop wouldn’t be complete without crafting! Registration is not required but encouraged to help us estimate the number of guests!

Hop on over to our special Easter brunches with appearances by the Easter Bunny! Enjoy a delicious brunch, participate in our Easter activities, and meet one of our beloved education animals. Don’t forget to grab a photo with the Easter Bunny and then enjoy exploring the Zoo! There are three brunch sessions each day: 10:00 am, 11:15 am, and 12:30 pm. Space is limited for this event, so please register early and arrive on time.


Hop' on board the West Chester Railroad and take a 90 minute round trip along the beautiful Chester Creek from West Chester to the historic Glen Mills village. The Easter Bunny will be on board our heated decorated train handing out treats to all passengers!



This spring, Peddler’s Village presents the 3rd Annual PEEPS® in the Village, on display from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, April 24. The colorful display will include more than 90 creations of wall art, dioramas, and sculpture, featuring the popular Pennsylvania-made bunnies and chicks, and carefully handmade and contributed by Philly-area residents and organizations. Admission to the display is free. Guests are invited to vote for their favorite entries. Housed in the new Visitor & Event Center, located off Street Road and Peddler’s Lane.

As the season unfolds, flowering trees delightfully punctuate the landscape, radiant tulips stretch toward the sun, and the delicious fragrance of wisteria floats along with the breeze, beckoning you further into the effervescent beauty of spring. Beginning April 23, our Open Air Theatre and Italian Water Garden fountains spring to life, as do our Square Fountain, Round Fountain (Flower Garden Walk), Sylvan Fountain (Peirce’s Park), and Children’s Corner fountains … bringing with them the refreshing sounds and sights of water in our Gardens.

Don’t miss Elmo’s Eggstravaganza – our exciting Easter Celebration on select dates in 2022! Guests can visit Sesame Place for a hoppin’ good time with rides, shows, Sesame Street Party Parade, and special Easter fun with everyone’s favorite furry friends. March 26th - April 18th





Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
