2013 Fourth of July Fireworks and Parades in Chester County

Below is a list of parades, events and fireworks for the Chester County area. Don't forget the Wawa Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia that includes a parade on July 4th, an ice cream festival and outdoor movies. Click here for the calendar of events in Philadelphia. Thursday July 3rd


Downingtown 34th Annual Good Neighbor Day and Fireworks
The event starts at 6 am in Kerr Park in Downtown with races and plenty of kids friendly events throughout the day. Fireworks at Dusk.

Easttown Township
Family Picnic and Bike Parade at Johnson Park (Berwyn) on July 4th, at 11 a.m.

July 4th at 10:00 AM at West Goshen Community Park (N. Five Points & Fern Hill Roads)
Receive prizes for best decorated bicycles, tricycles, big wheels, strollers, and wagons

Annual 4th of July Fireworks at Friendship Field  (corner of Fillmore Street and Franklin Avenue)
(Rain date is July 5th) 

Fireworks and concert
Chester County Concert Band - 7pm
Fireworks show begins at dusk
Wilson Farm Park - 500 Lee Road, Chesterbrook, PA


Friday July 5th
Parkesburg Fire Company Fair and Fireworks
Fireworks will be at dusk on July 5th at Minch Park (3rd Ave and Gay St)

Saturday July 6th
An Independence weekend concert, children's entertainment, activity & food vendors, and fireworks display.  (fireworks start at 9:45 p.m.) at Nottingham County Park (150 Park Road)

North Conventry Fair and Fireworks
Fireworks on Saturday at 10:30

Brandywine Picnic Park
Fireworks on Saturday - park opens at 4pm


Sunday July 7th
The Rotary Club of Coatesville will be partnering with the City of Coatesville and the Road Cycling League to make this a full day of activities. Beginning at noon there will be food, craft booths, games and other activities for the entire family. Bike races will begin for all ages at 2:00pm and run throughout the afternoon. The day will end with the City’s famous fireworks display.

 On Sunday, July 7th, we will celebrate Independence Day with two concerts and ending with a Fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
