Little Sprout's Spring Classes

Discovering Spring (3 to 5 years)

As nature slowly awakens from its winter slumber, we will explore the magic of spring. Using all of their senses, children will discover the natural world through stories, games, crafts and nature studies. Each week, we will indulge into a different theme, including spring flowers, seeds and sprouts, insects and birds. Classes will be held primarily outdoors and appropriate clothing is required. An indoor space is available for rainy days.

When: Tuesday ~ March 29 to April 19

Grow Sprout, Grow! (3-5 years)

Gardening Class
It's time to get dirty! This class is all about digging in the dirt, sowing seeds and watching sprouts emerge from the soil. Your child will learn what plants need to grow and how easy it is to grow your own food. Each week, we will focus on a different vegetable and your child will take home a "veggie card" with information about the vegetable of the week and practical tips on gardening. We will also read stories and play games to enrich your child's gardening experience. The class is held primarily outdoors and appropriate clothing is required. An indoor space is available for rainy days.
